Original Poems
Vietnam Vets
They laughed
they cried
they lived
they died
some came home
none survived
The Bat
The entrance dark
the passage deep
a bat flys by
Looks
I never thought I was handsome
I never considered myself good looking
I never thought much of myself
Till I met you
You've opened my eyes and made me see
It's not the flower
But the plant that has the power
To make someone as special as me
The night
The night was dark
The moon was gone
A breeze through the leaves
I was all alone
I can see millions of stars
It's a gloriest sight
O for a friend
To share this marvelous night
Friends like you
With friends like you
I'm going to be alright
With friends like you
I know my might
With friends like you
I can't get hurt
With friends like you
Where I work
With friends like you
Other people are jealous
Should they be of friends like you
I say hell-yes!
As days go by
As days go by
I remember his laugh
As days go by
I remember his smile
He is with me
Day after Day
He is with me
Night after Night
As days go by
I remember him Caving
As days go by
I remember him Diving
When I drink a beer
There is Dave
When I drink Scotch
There is Dave
As days go by
I'm not as sad
As days go by
I'm not as mad
When I see a soccer game
There is Dave
When I see a newspaper
There is Dave
As days go by...
